Taiwan pop sweetheart Genie Chuo promised something different for her fourth album and it is evident that she takes her word seriously as she shows duality in image and musical styles in her new album, which is curiously titled My Favorite Kind of Geniie (note the double “i”).
A crew of star musicians like A-yue Chang, Chen Ching Hsiang (Ah Niu), Christine Fan, and Tanya Chua assembled to write and produce the ten new songs. Genie herself takes writing credits for two numbers, “Extremely Fond of” (Track 3) and “Daring on My Own” (Track 9), where she expresses her own views on life and love. [Credit : YesAsia.com]
